YANIS VILELLA: HISTORY OF TWO JOINT PORTRAITS

Russian-Spanish artist Yanis offered me the opportunity to draw something together while simultaneously working on two works. Everyone on the cardboard pencil does what they want and performs the desired parts of the work separately: one is oil, the second is colored handles, then exchange them, and finish the work with the colored handles and oil. Started working in my friends’ workshop. Later we finished our  fragments at home. We didn’t mix up: I drew a caricature of Yanis (the original pencil drawing and the oil part were mine), and  he drew my symbolic portrait (the original pencil drawing and handwriting work were Yanis). It was a fascinating experience.

Spain is where Yanis lives and works. He works as a textile engineer. By profession, an artist with incredible imagination and working abilities. The most interesting person has the most interesting fate. An altruistic person, I have been a teacher at the school of Eastern martial arts for many years. Author of numerous publications on the philosophy of Eastern martial arts and many works with symbolic plots on the same subject.
